CSB  is developing an information service in 2019, as part of a self-regulation scheme, where participating CSOs will be encouraged  to publish a specific set of required data that is relevant to accountability and transparency.

 

CSB will act as a lead and coordinator of the information service and will determine the initiative’s standards, the data to be disclosed and the level of disclosure asked of the participating organisations.

 

CSB intends to organise a rating system based on the amount and quality of information disclosed. A rating system can be seen as a compliance mechanism in that it signifies to the public which CSOs are complying with different levels of requirements, and it can motivate organisations to meet higher transparency criteria.
